If you’ve ever wondered where most of the billions of used plastic bags end, here’s the answer.
A little fraction of them are recycled to be used again but most of them end up in landfill sites and some on our streets.
Plastic bags can last for over a thousand years as they do not decompose like organic waste; so when you take very many plastic bags home after shopping, only to get some more at your next shopping, you’re not helping our environment.
You can help by making a change today while helping out with the shopping by bagging your groceries in a way that is safe for our planet.
Shopping baskets made from natural products are so much better to use than plastic bags especially if you can reuse them over a long period of time.
