Here’s some great tips to help you save some money for you and your family simply by reusing and recycling many of the items that you would normally just throw away. Here are some tips on how to save money by recycling and reusing common household products.
- Sell your old mobile phone to envirofone who will recycle it for you. You may even be able to sell your mobile back to your phone provider or use it to upgrade your phone saving you the upgrade fee.
- Take your ink cartridges from school or home so it can be refilled at many retail shops.
- Buy concentrated products like washing up liquid or squash as this reduces packaging and works out to be slightly cheaper.
- Encourage your family to use teabags more than once, then put them onto your compost heap as this saves money, creates no waste and helps your garden to grow.
