After 40 years since the first Earth Day, we will be celebrating our second Earth Day on April 22nd around the world. We all know that climate change is the greatest environmental challenge at the moment, but we can all work towards a healthy, successful, clean energy economy present and future.
You too can join people all over Earth and take action for a greener world. Here are a few ways you can help out ......
- Walk, cycle and take public transportation where possible instead of being driven around
- Use a reusable water bottle and drinking more tap water
- Recycle more by using shopping bags, using less water, electricity
- Grow your own vegetables organically
- Recycle all paper, clothes, bottles and anything else that I don’t need
- Turn the lights off when leaving home
- Using less water when showering
- Reducing the amount of electrical appliances used such as TV, radio, i-pods, hairdryers
