Have you have been watching the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games? If so, you will have been watching the winners deservedly being awarded their Gold, Silver and Bronze medallions but did you know that these medallions were made from recycled material like old computers and keyboards, cables etc.
The material’s used for the medallions were orginally made from freshly mines ores but by using the recycled parts of computers this reduced the amount of waste going to landfil sites so it is being better for the environment and making the Olympic Games one of the greenest games ever!
